Part 2: Corona – How do I protect myself?

1 April 2020 – updated 24 April 2020

Reporting on the worldwide Covid-19 pandemic has caused much uncertainty and fear. And fear is the worst thing we can do to our immune system. So take a deep breath…

Essential health tips

1. The best thing for the immune system is peace of mind
Do not follow the fear and panic. Generally avoid stress. People with experience in meditation have a clear advantage here. Humour also helps.

2. Breathe good air
Because of the shutdown even possible in the cities.
Smokers: NOW is the time to stop smoking completely.

3. Drink good water
Not always easy. Especially as plastic bottles are to be avoided because nanoplastics that come loose from food packaging put a considerable strain on our cells.

4. Choose versatile, healthy, organically grown food
Vitamins and other micronutrients are important – always, not only in times of epidemics. The extremely mild spread of Covid-19 in Japan, for example, may be related to the fact that people in Japan, the country with the most 100-year-olds in the world, consume an above-average amount of micronutrients due to their traditionally extremely varied diet. This protects the immune system.

As the soils of the chemical-intensive agricultural industry are increasingly degrading and therefore contain fewer nutrients, most vegetables are also becoming poorer in nutrients. Therefore food supplements are nowadays necessary to use if you want to stay healthy.

However, one must be careful with the dosage of vitamins and trace elements – too much can also be harmful! You should therefore consult a nutritionist or preventive doctor to determine the individual needs of your body.

Also, the origin of supplement products is by no means always kosher: in many products, the vitamins are of artificial origin, so vitamin C can come, shockingly, from petroleum and vitamins B1 and K from coal tar. In addition, many products contain preservatives, separating agents or residues of the extraction substances.

Personal note: I have been treated by a preventive doctor for years and have been wonderfully healthy ever since. I would be happy to give you a few tips on dietary supplements in private. You can mail me via the contact page of this website.

5. Exercise in fresh air
Yoga, Qi Gong or gentle sports are invaluable. The best place is outside, in the forest, by the sea…

6. Natural remedies
Now in spring, for example, nettle tea is recommended for blood purification and strengthening. And better than buying dried herbs is to go foraging.

7. Make peace with nature
The fight against nature inherent in our form of civilisation (see Part 3 of this article) has led to multi-resistant pathogens that make hospitals life-threatening places. And in agriculture, the fight against nature has led to multi-resistant “weeds” and “pests” that, despite chemical warfare, are increasingly destroying large parts of harvests. And, all in all, the war-against-nature mentality has brought us to the global ecological crisis: extinction of species, (plastic) contamination, climate crisis.

More and more people worldwide are working for the good of the Earth because they have realised that everything in the ecosphere is connected. Thus they form the antithesis to the “white supremacy”, which still insists on the old paradigm of separation.(1)

Therefore, make peace with nature inside yourself. Renounce the narrative that man is the crown of creation and may brutally destroy everything in order to make money out of it. All life is connected. What we do to the whales, the seas, the forests, the animals, we also do to ourselves.

Practical tips

Infection by humans:
So far, the importance of viral dose is being overlooked in discussions of the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2. As with any other poison, viruses are usually more dangerous in larger amounts. That’s why interactions between people are more dangerous in enclosed spaces and at short distances. And the dose also escalates with exposure time. Hence, when you do have to interact closely with someone (say, when paying a shop assistant) keep it brief: within six feet, only six seconds.

Generally, “preventing viral spread is a societal good, avoiding high-dose infections is a personal imperative.”(2)
And don’t forget: The virus does not pierce the skin, we must actively bring it onto our mucous membranes – by touching ourselves in the face (nose, mouth). Therefore wash your hands often!

Disinfectants: Normal soaps are effective enough because their surfactants attack the sensitive lipid shell of the virus.

Pets: SARS-CoV-2 viruses have been detected but no transmission back to humans yet. So rather avoid contact with stranger pets. But avoid panic as well – see coloured section on dosage above.

Cash, parcels, door handles: The SARS-CoV-2 virus remains on paper and other dead surfaces for several hours, or on metal for up to three days. But only very few single viruses will survive, and a few single viruses are not enough to infect a complex, (from a virus point of view) gigantic body like the human one. See coloured section on dosage above – but wash your hands anyway!

Ibuprofen: There are theoretical considerations by experts that ibuprofen, diclofenac or even acetylsalicylic acid (ASA, “aspirin”) could have an unfavourable effect on the course of Covid-19. But nothing has been proven. To be on the safe side, one can switch to paracetamol if necessary.

Internet rumours:
Hold your breath for ten seconds: Turned out to be a clear hoax. Neither Stanford Hospital nor Japanese doctors had anything to do with it.
A temperature of 79° Fahrenheit (26/27 °C) can kill the virus: complete nonsense. Then how could it even spread at 82° Fahrenheit (28°C) in Brazil, India or Australia? And how could it become a threat at all as the human body temperature is about 98.6° Fahrenheit (37°C)?
Drink water to flush possible viruses in the mouth into the stomach before they can enter the respiratory tract: Again, this tip has no scientific basis, but it does seem not entirely illogical. So for shopping trips I take my water bottle (glass instead of plastic!) with me. Drinking good water is always a good thing anyway!

A less warlike take on viruses

The word virus means venom or poison. Viruses are non-cellular structures that require a living host cell to replicate. They need a host cell because they cannot produce their own energy (ATP). Their activity wreaks havoc in their host cell. Therefore they require excretion, purification.

A virus is not an independent biological organism (such as bacteria). There are no “evil” little alien creatures that enter the body. According to a common theory in biology, viruses are derived from our own DNA; they are discarded DNA fragments that are secreted by the cell when the cell is under severe poisoning stress.(3)

Unlucky for us, these cellular fragments come with one capability: that of self-reproduction. Without self-reproduction they would simply be expelled by the cell and we wouldn’t even talk about them.

Viral diseases are transmitted to other organisms because they too are exposed to the same level of environmental pollution. Diseases, including pandemic ones, take hold easier if our immune system is weakened by too many toxins in the environment (see air pollution in Wuhan and Northern Italy, Part 3 of this article).

This worldwide pollution is what we truly have to change.

Landscape degradation and ecological disruption drive disease. We cannot separate ourselves from the “rest” of the planet! Only on an all around healthy planet can we find global biosecurity.

The long-awaited vaccine

According to the old paradigm of separation, the evil poison from nature requires the relevant antidote from the good hands of humanity. Now, in the corona state of emergency, we often hear: soon – in 18 months at the latest – the longed-for innoculant will be with us! Life can be so beautiful! As in a fairy tale, when Indiana Jones gets the antidote to the snake bite just in time. But is everything always so clear-cut and unambiguous in reality?

Also when the “swine flu” H1N1 developed into a severe pandemic in 2009/2010, a vaccine was developed. Within 24 hours after vaccination, many recipients showed side effects such as allergic shock, facial paralysis, twitching, vasculitis and meningitis, but were ignored on instructions from the governments of the various countries.

In the further course of the treatment it became apparent that of the 30 million people vaccinated against swine flu, approximately 1,300 developed narcolepsy after receiving the vaccination. This is an incurable sleeping sickness in which one suddenly falls into a deep sleep: in the middle of the day, at the stove while cooking, in the shower, while shopping or driving a car – up to 40 times a day. These Pandemrix victims – especially children and young people! – can be found across Europe. In Finland alone, 244 out of 342 applications have been granted, costing the Finnish taxpayer (not the pharmaceutical company, which is legally immune to compensation claims) around 22 million euros. In Great Britain, most applications are rejected.(4)

One could have been warned by the example of aluminium. Unfortunately, we constantly absorb aluminium with food (and also through cosmetics). In the body, about half the aluminium gets into the bones, a quarter gets into the lungs, and some into the brain. It accumulates in the brain and bones, especially when calcium and iron are deficient, and is often associated with Alzheimer’s disease.

An adult absorbs between one and 15 milligrams of aluminium per day, which corresponds to up to 0.2 milligrams per kilogram of body weight per day, and up to about 0.35 mg for children and infants. Luckily, the body only really absorbs about 1 per mil (one thousandth) of the aluminium from the gastrointestinal tract.(5)

If an infant ingests 1 per mil (one thousandth) of 0.35 mg, this is 0.35 µg (micrograms) of aluminium – which is distributed throughout the day. However, an average vaccination contains 850 μg aluminium, which suddenly, abruptly, penetrates the body.(6) Aluminium as a core element of vaccines has long been controversial.

___

A vaccination study commissioned by the US Department of Defense found in January 2020 that flu vaccination can indeed protect people from common flu pathogens and also that “all other non-influenza respiratory viruses had decreased odds in the vaccinated population”, but also that coronavirus was one of two exceptions: “the odds of both coronavirus and human metapneumovirus in vaccinated individuals were significantly higher when compared to unvaccinated individuals”. The chances of flu-vaccinated individuals to get a coronavirus infection is 36% higher than for individuals with no vaccination (for metapneumovirus infection 51% higher).(7)

In addition, after a vaccination, the body may produce so-called “antibody dependent enhancement” (ADE) instead of the normal antibodies. The ADEs cause the opposite of the desired vaccination effect: they make it easier for the virus to enter the body cells, and lead to a more serious course of the disease than in people without vaccination.(8)

In Lombardy in northern Italy, a major flu vaccination campaign was carried out last October: 141,000 people were vaccinated, including 129,000 people over 65 years of age and chronically ill patients. In the province of Bergamo (where Covid-19 caused the highest death rates) the vaccination coverage rate was 56%. The possibility of a causal connection should be thoroughly investigated as soon as possible.(9)

On March 20, 2020, it became known that the first vaccine tests for Covid-19 had begun at a health center in Seattle. Volunteers were given the substance mRNA-1273 from the US company Moderna. It is “designed to reprogramme human cells to turn into factories for virus building blocks and produce coronavirus proteins in a controlled manner.”(10)

Well, if that doesn’t inspire confidence, what does! After all, we know that special regulations apply to vaccines in order to be able to “wave them through” faster in the obvious emergency. For comparison: the anti-tumour preparation made of yew bark took 25 years from its discovery to its approval as a marketable drug. All too often, pharmaceutical companies are not liable for any damage to the health of patients.

In any case, the motto is: Stay healthy! Prevention is better than treatment.
